Car Wreck Lawyer San Antonio is the website of LAWBOSS, Uvalle Law Firm, PLLC, a Texas personal injury law firm. Our San Antonio office is in Fountainhead Tower on I-10, and the firm also has offices in Dallas and Houston. This page explains who we are, how we work and how our fee works.

Michael Uvalle, founding attorney

Michael Uvalle founded LAWBOSS. Before he became a lawyer, he worked for several of the largest insurance companies in Texas, where he saw from the inside how injury claims are evaluated and defended. He decided to switch sides and built a firm to use that knowledge for injured people. The firm calls this the Insurance Insider Advantage. Its motto is Work Hard and Do Right.

What we do in a car wreck case

• Collect the evidence before it is lost: the CR-3 crash report, photographs, witnesses, video and the vehicles’ own data.
• Deal with the insurers, the other driver’s and your own, so that you do not give statements or sign forms without advice.
• Put the damages together: medical bills, lost pay, the car, and what the injuries have cost you in pain and daily life.
• Settle the liens of hospitals and health plans before the remainder of a recovery is paid to you.
• File suit when a claim does not settle, before the two-year deadline.

How our fee works

The first consultation is free. We work on a contingency fee: you pay no attorney’s fee unless we recover money for you. We advance the case expenses, and if there is no recovery you owe no fee and no case expenses. If there is a recovery, the fee and the expenses are paid from it as your written fee agreement sets out, and the agreement is in writing before we start.

The cases we handle

This site is about car wrecks. The firm also handles truck and 18-wheeler crashes, motorcycle crashes, drunk driver crashes, workplace injuries, premises liability and slip and fall cases, dog bites, catastrophic injuries such as brain and spinal cord injuries, and wrongful death. Where we work

From the San Antonio office we take cases across Bexar County and in New Braunfels, Schertz, Converse, Universal City, Live Oak, Leon Valley, Helotes, Boerne and Seguin. The line is answered 24 hours a day, including weekends and holidays. The firm’s main website is lawboss.com.
